What is Folk at the Froize?

Folk at the Froize is a monthly event which takes place in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, close to the Heritage Coast in a place called Chillesford. David Grimwood, owner of the Froize, wants to bring together two of his passions in one evening: gorgeous music and fabulous food (all locally sourced of course).

We are hoping to support the UK music scene, both locally and nationally. We plan on bringing you artists that you may or may not have had the opportunity to hear before, that we think are simply wonderful. Don’t be fooled by the name … it’s not just about Folk music. ‘Folk’ covers such a broad spectrum of musical styles these days, and we plan on finding some real gems!

Extra Special Events

Folk at the Froize is hosting a fabulous New Years Eve Ceilidh at Wantisden Valley. So, pop on your dancing shoes and join us for a knees up with music from the wonderful ‘Skiphire’ (featuring Lowestoft locals John Ward and Les Woodley).
